All 3 of my cats use this litter and the pee clods consistently come up in nice neat little balls; on condition (a) I have given the pee a short while to stand before removing it from the litter tray and (b) I don't shake the clod too much when lifting it with the poop scoop. I find that I detect no bad odour on fresh poops that have been covered with litter by my cats and on fresh covered or uncovered pee.
